Private LessonsPrivate lessons are $45.00 per hour (couple or single). Special Deal! Buy three, get one free! At the beginning of each class a review of the previous lesson will be done before the next lesson is taught. You will receive a syllabus of the level you are in so you are able to remember and practice the combinations you have learned. Music and counting are utilized during class for students to find the down beat which enables them to dance to real time Salsa instead of just counting which inhibits them from hearing and feeling the rhythm. All students may cancel a lesson or program at anytime. If you miss a class you may make it up. All students must wear closed in shoes. Students shoes must stay on their feet in order to be able to execute the steps and turns and prevent them from falling or hurting their feet or legs. Leather bottom or dance shoes are the best and recommended so they can dance on any surface. Lessons are done at your convenience 5 days a week. Those of you that live in or near Pasco County I need your help. I am trying to find adequate space to bring all of you Salsa lessons. If you are in this county and want Salsa brought to you please email me and let me know where you are and what your interest is in Salsa (Beginner or Intermediate salsa classes). I am willing to travel to you if I have enough students for a group class. The time I have available would be Fridays from 7-8 pm and 8-9 pm. All of you that are interested email me and as soon as I have enough interest I will find a place to teach.
Those of you that can’t or do not want to drive to me wherever you are I have an option for you, too. Get a group class together with 10 or more people and I will bring Salsa to your home or office. Everyone must be prepaid for the month and all offers and restrictions seen above will apply to your group. CLUB AND PARTY EVENTS BEGINNER I – SALSA INSTRUCTION BASIC STEPS MARCHING STEP FORWARD AND BACK STEPS SIDE STEP CROSSOVERS UNDERARM TURN Basic steps are done to slow Salsa music. After each step is demonstrated students learn how to count, change direction and dance to the beat of the music. At the end of the class students will be tested and the tempo of the music will get faster and faster for at least three songs. The last 15 to 20 minutes of the class the basic Bachata steps and two turns will be taught to music. Upon completion of the steps and turns students will have two more songs to dance to before class ends. (Music, I will provide for the lessons) Instruction/lesson - $50.00 - (½ hour) $100.00 – (1 hour) DANCE HOST AND HOSTESS Begin club event or party with ½ to 1 hour Salsa lesson. When lesson is over my dance partner and I will dance with the ladies and gentlemen for rest of the evening if contracted to do so at a rate of. Salsa Rivera will come to your organization meeting, benefit, party or luncheon and provide a demonstration of Salsa, Merengue and Bachata dancing for your group. The demonstration is for 15 minutes, approximately five minutes for each dance. If your group is interested in having a salsa group class right after the demonstration this can be arranged. 15 minutes - $60.00 15 minute demo plus ½ hour lesson - $100.00 LET US ENTERTAIN YOU If your organization is having a benefit, fashion show, auction, rummage sale, etc we can provide a Salsa dance show for your guest entertainment. Shows are different than the above demos. One salsa dance is performed unless other arrangements are made in advance. A minimum of three months advance notice is required for all shows. Show minimum cost: $300.00
